Issues logging: DFCO will not disable

    Hey there guys.

I am having some issues with my logs trying to get MAF dialed in.

I have done multiple steps to disable DFCO and still i get fuel cut giving me bad data. I understand there is a filter to help with this, i am unsure the string i am needing in the filtering. 0 throttle filtering seems like it may work however i am reading here that the data off throttle is still important.

I also am not sure how to get the STFTs to disable.

Also, i am seeing threads and posts about doing VVE and MAF at the same time using a user math etc. I have read the thread on the GEN IV forum and i am just wanting a little bit more of a explanation of where in the histograms i need to put the maths, if the maths works for my GEN V platform or if it needs tweaking. And if its a good idea at all to tune both at the same time.

Post your tune so we can see if you properly disabled DFCO/CFCO. You really should just have to change the enable temps for DFCO and CFCO. If you have an Automatic DFCO should be adequate. If you have a manual you may have to disable both. i usually do both for safe meausre.

Also to filter out 0% Accelerator Pedal is easy. In the graph you make for MAF vs Fuel trims, you add a variable, select Accelerator Pedal, choose percent, and then use the greater than/less than symbols < >.
    Example: PID XXXXX.XXXX > 0

I can't comment on the VVE and MAF together yet as I haven't parsed any data yet. I typically use MAF Airflow, VE Airflow and Dynamic Airflow to see where there could be some issues. But it was a rather rough estimate and not saying it was the right way to do it. It's just how I found to get the airflow models closer.

It seems like some of the newer cars 18+ need to use the Scanner Tool to disable fuel trims vs writing a change in edit. I haven't personally tested this yet so I am only repeating what a couple other people on here have reported. I haven't tuned any 2018+ cars that required STFT's disabled.
