    s550 GT, flames during shifts/decel

    Hi guys!

Has anybody here figured out how to create some good consistent flames on their s550?

I messed around with the timing and afr, but can't seem to get a result :/

    Cheers, Vincent

No chance for flames without 2 step - exhaust is just too long.

    Popcorn - sure no probs:

That's too much popcorn lol. Mine is very light and spaced apart. Like the occasional crackle of thunder at random times as the rpms progress downwards. Actually sounds really good.
Knock Retard is the reduction or prevention of knock by lowering ignition timing:

(+) Adding Knock Retard = Reducing Timing. PCM is seeing knock.
(--) Lowering Knock Retard = Increasing Timing. PCM isn't seeing knock.

Yes, and it can make some big booms sometimes as well on boosted cars. I personally don't have a clue why anyone would want their car to sound like that, or have the rear wheels riding on the inside of the rim, or their car sitting so low they are on bumpstops. I'm all about performance and none of that does a thing for it. Jmho.

I dont have any clue either lol. The owner said he wanted more backfires. I told him it was too much backfire now and he said he liked it like that. It sounds good when shifting. Going 60 in 4th gear while decelerating sounds bad. Actually, any decel other than a shift sounds like a brick of blackcats. I had it Saturday and https://vimeo.com/361026634
