2005 Corvette Magnuson TVS2300 how make a 2.5 bar MAP work

Hi everyone, my father has a 2005 Vette and last year I did a bunch of work to it including upgrading the MP112 supercharger to the TVS2300(jackshaft style). Along with that one of the things I did was install a 2 bar MAP sensor. If I remember correctly I installed the map only so the dash logic could read boost. Turns out when I got to the dyno tune appointment we had to go speed density because we ran out of MAF with the E40 PCM. Car made 14psi so we were good, but we'd like to turn up the power a little and more boost would require a little more MAP capability. 2.5 bar would be more than plenty. Can anyone tell me exactly what is required to make it work? Thanks

Get a cobalt 2 bar map and will read just fine. Ls9 won’t work correctly since ls9 is a linear of 312.50 and that OS maxes out before that

Honestly you could have done the Patch for the e40 and had plenty of MAF room

And, if you did the 2 bar OS, the boost ve chart goes to 255kpa which is way more than 14#.

well ideally what's better for a street car, MAF, or SD? I have MAP part # 12615136 how many psi boost will that take me or what part # do I need and how far will that take me? Thanks very much.

Both are capable... just a different way of controlling fuel is all

That (136) map sensor is good for 14.7 # of boost.
Get a 2.5 bar map sensor that has a positive offset number as the E40 will not accept a negative number. DPE Corvettes sells one that will work.

Thanks very much guys. I've been pondering if it's worth stepping up to a NW 102MM TB (boosted version) but after reading about problems with them I'm second guessing it. I'm going to go the DPE MAP 2.5 bar route. Thanks again.

There is no problem with the new NW 102 throttle bodies. You just have to adjust the tune.
