    Problem with standalone data logging

So, not sure what's going on but I cannot seem to get standalone data logging working with my EIO. Wherever I try to record, it errors out. I've been successful in prior attempts to log data but it seems that something has fouled up somehow. I've verified that the PID's are valid for my car and the EIO works fine if it's connected to my PC for data logging. Any help is appreciated....

Can you post your scanner config file and give us some details on what vehicle you are working with?

I had a similar issue after connecting to my second PC and pulling the logs off. Re-write the config, and give it another shot.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Bill,

I had standalone logging working fine and now for some reason it isn't working. I'll just default everything and give it another shot.....

yeah I would say start over, add one thing at a time till it fails on you and keep a before & after config so you know what changed so if it is our issue we can get it fixed asap.

Mine does the same thing now, but I'm running the 2.0.13 beta. BBL was working and now it doesn't. I wrote the config fine to the box and can get info from it. When I try and hit the record, nothing happens anymore.

I would say try a config with just 1 or 2 known items...keep upping the number until you find a specific PID or amount of PID's that is screwing things up.

I defaulted the config, cleared the last used vehicle and relinked. It seems that when I delete the Mass Air Flow (SAE) parameter, that's when I get the error. I am running the latest (official) release 2.1.12
