    4L60E Trans Converter Clutch opperation

2006 Silverado Crew Cab 4WD 5.3L 4L60E. I decided to put the scanner on my DD and see what it was doing. The one thing I thought odd is that the converter clutch applies as soon as I hit about 10mph and stays locked no matter how I drive it,even through shifts. It doesn't release until I hit about 2mph stopping. I can step on the brake while driving and it still wont release. Is this normal operation of the truck. Are there any settings to change it not lock until I get it going and in a higher gear.

I looked at your file. It appears you have an internal transmission or wiring problem. The calibration appears normal to me. Good luck and keep us updated.

Ran the scanner on it today and was able to unlock the converter with it, so I don't think anything is wrong with the wiring. I am thinking it came from the factory set up like that.I have never felt the clutch lock while driving, now I know why.
