Is it tuned by HP tuners or a handheld? Try reloading the tune.

I've been tuning GM's since 2006 and fords shortly there after.

In all my years over 1,000+ vehicles later I've never not once ever experienced a tune "go bad."

And I've written some really iffy and sketchy test code before too on my personal vehicles testing and doing development.

If tunes 'going bad' are the norm for you then you may want to leaving tuning up to the pro's since clearly you are doing something wrong.

Not trying to be a dick I'm just telling you the hard truth.

You are right, what I meant is not that a tune could go bad, just if the tune was not correct, the car could run fine and next day things could go bad not because of the tune just because of the '' tuner '' next thing is I don't agree with you 100% is that don't give up tuning just don't learn on other people car's. Sounds good?

This is why I said agree to disagree, first you said a tune never go bad then you said '' If tunes 'going bad' are the norm for you '' well that is the correct thing to say, then a tune could go bad because of the tuner. Right?

I finally figured it out the fuel pressure sensor on the fuel rail came apart on the inside and was pumping fuel straight in the vacuum line

Thats very common. Usually it takes out the engine when it fails.

There used to be rupture disks that you can sandwich in there to prevent such issues. I'm not sure who's making them these days.
