1999 Mustang GT ABS Codes

I recently purchased the MPVi2 for my 2014 Ram truck. Does anyone know if it could be used to diagnose and reset the ABS system on my 99 Mustang GT? I know that I would have to purchase another license, but I can't find the specifics of what the MPVi2 can and can't do for the 99 Mustang.

abs codes are in the abs module not the ecu. You should be able to read them but if not you can download forscan free and use a generic obdii reader to pull codes and reset the abs module.

the only thing the ecu sends to the abs module is some initialization data over scp mostly gear ratios. On a mustang of that year it wont set an abs light on other fords and newer ones it will set both the brake and abs lights if the ecu sends data thats not the same as the abs module is expecting.
