Can someone explain peak duration?

[ECM] 17090 - Peak Duration: The time for the peak phase of the pulse.

I have to update this information on another post that i made but I carried this information over to an LT1 when using an LT4 fuel system and the car had no rail pressure. It probably just hit a limp mode but I'm not sure. I have always brought this information over on LT1 cars and never had an issue. this car however has a 32% fuel lobe so maybe thats why? hopefully I'm gon learn today.
