4t65e 1-2 upshift bounches off limiter

So i have tried to do the research but have not got the results i wanted. Under wot the 1-2 up shift bounces off the limiter i have tried to set the wot shift point m.p.h to 0 as i have read to try.

I would like to shift at 6500 so i set them lower to 6300 as i have also read.
When you look at the log my last 1-2 up shift is about at the end.

I have tried to study up on what i am trying to achieve but haven't had my results i want. please look over and tell me what you think

Your fuel cut-off is set to 6,400 rpm

Also your trans shift scheduling / part throttle 1-2 gear your 75% to 100% is at 46 / 47 mph... i'd lower it to 45.

6,500 rpm is a hairr passed the power band. car should run quicker when shifting at between 6,000 and 6,200 rpm,... unless you have a different camshaft.

Thank you zero boost. I just now saw your post at 9.00 at night. While I was at work I saw the fuel cut off was at 6400. Not sure why I over looked it before but I raise it to 6800 and lower the 1/2 to 43 mph. Made a pass with the shift point at 6400 and it went right into 2nd gear. Car has a XP cam need to find its happy shift place still. Thanks for the reply.

OK cool I'm glad to hear all is good

Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask or PM me.
I miss the 3800 cars I've owned. 3800 cars are wrench monkey heaven !!!

If you want the trans to last, I recommend AMSOIL Signature Series ATF.

I have used Alison's transynd fluid and have had pretty good luck. With the correct supporting mods what's the xp make power to? I have pac 130 springs I am not worried about valve float

Fixed problem. Installed a shift kit and new accumulator pistons. Took care of the bouncing limiter. Shifts are spot on
