Looking for opinions on best way to deal with P0300 code on new engine install. Its the usual cam, intake, heads, bumped up compression and so on...

I just bumped up the misfire tables 20% at a time until the code just went away the last bump up, figured that would be a good way to still have the code active with the modifications and still be happy.

Did the VE, MAF and RAF all looks pretty good and runs well. Tried experimenting putting the misfire table back to stock and still want happy unless I bumped the tables back up.

I have seen others recommending to just set the code to no report.

What are your opinions on best way to deal with this code?
