Vats?

So I'm just starting to do some tuning on my 2017 C7 ZO6. I read and saved the original tune, made some modifications and then uploaded and everything went smoothly. When I went to start it it appeared to be in the Vats security mode and would not run. I cycled the ignition three times and then opened the door and everything worked fine.

My question is is there any way to disable this or get around it so I don't have to do this every time I upload a tune?

I've read that once the tune is done writing, you want to turn the ignition off, open the door and wait about 20-30 seconds. Then start the vehicle. That's what I do with my truck and works fine, but I'm pretty new at this myself... So, I can't really speak with a whole lot of certainty.
