Gen 3 411 ECM Is the any way the trans may not be getting a tps signal for control purposes . When I log the tps with HP scanner tps reads correctly. The transmission will not upshift
even though the trans current gear shows upshifts at the correct time during part throttle acceleration . eventually it will move up through the gears if I feather the throttle. The reason I suspect TPS is that if I scan with my Modis ultra the trans shows no TPS signal. I scanned another 4L80e with the modis and TPS signal is there like it should be. The engine runs ok.
Still needs some tuning. Basically what i am asking is there something in the ecm that may not be applying TPS info to the transmission part off the controller?
I would try a different PCM from a compatible platform if possible. Don't need to license it or anything, just key-on and recheck the data with the Modis.
