    Help!!!! VATS issues aplenty!!!

I have been beating my head against the wall...
So, I blew up the LS1 in my personal 1998 Trans AM, replaced it with a 2004 LQ4 from a Yukon Denali and pumped it up with a BTR stage 4 truck cam. I really need some guidance, I have not trusted my skills to tune with HP Tuners on a customer's car yet, so I almost exclusively use FAST, FiTech or now Holley self tuning set ups to avoid this. I decided to pull the trigger on the HP Tuners on my own car and learn to tune it before I trusted doing it on a customers car. However, I have not gotten the damn thing to bypass the VATS system at all. I have bypassed the VATS system using a resistor, and then bypassed using the Hawk Motorsports bypass. Same old bullshit... still shuts down fuel pump and injector pulse at 3 seconds. I have double checked all grounds, all connections. No issues, I am thoroughly at a loss for words and beyond frustrated. I did not know that the write calibration and write tune was a seperate function and put in the write calibration first... could I have bricked the VATS programming? I have since rewritten and wrote entire but to no success. Please someone point me in the right direction????????? Also, I have seen that most people tell me to disable starter check and disable VATS 1 and 2 but its not present on my software 4.4.4 vcm editor with an MPVI2????

The P01/P59 computer only has the VATS in the systems tab. All you have to do is set it to disable and write calibration only for that. You can even going through the DTC's page and set the theft codes to no error reported as well.

The VATS 1 & 2 are for newer computers.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Maybe try another ECU if you have one lying around, As 5FDP has said above disable vats, save and just do a Write Calibration only its worth a try

There should be a pid for pats, showing if it is active or inactive. I had this problem on my 98 turned out it was bad injector data

    Not necessary on P01/P59.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

The Body harness side of VATS controls the fuel cutoff not the PCM
