I know with my 2014 Mustang you need to turn ON flex fuel in the calibration for the pid to show in the scanner, likely the same on your vehicle.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I want to do this to my 2014 just to get a gauge of the ethanol content at my normal gas station. I've populated the Inference section and 'FFV' tables all over the tune with what I think is right but I'm not 100% sure it's accurate enough to flip the switch. Anyone have a guide or template to converting the stock tune to a Flex Fuel ready tune?
Knock Retard is like an Ignition Timing Tax:

(+) Knock Retard = Reducing Net Timing (less power output)
(--) Knock Retard = Increasing Net Timing (more power output).
