So I have hp tuners all set up. Did a stock read of the PCM. Saved that file, put it in a secure location. Decided to modify my stock tune. Copied the file to a new file which we will call "modified_tune". From there I went to change Active Exhaust parameters. All is good, I'm happy with my changes so I save my file. I decide to write the tune back to the car and take my first foray into writing tunes and it asks me to license the file. So I select my two credits and license the file. Everything at this point is awesome!
I click the chip icon to write again and now it is telling me I don't have a license. I am confused so I close the window, close VCM Editor, ensure the connections to the MPVI2 are good. Everything checks out. Open VCM Editor, open my tune, click the chip icon for write and it give me the same error.
Now I'm starting to freak out thinking I blew 100.00 for nothing. Anyone have any input or feedback on this issue? I've read all the help files and I didn't do anything out of the ordinary.
