    Where to get started

Hello, I?m new to all this tuning stuff but I need to learn how to tune transmissions for towing, it would be primarily for new model Chevrolet 2500s, where/how is the best place to learn how to get started learning how to tune. Thanks!

What transmissions are in those trucks?

There is a huge difference in what a 4L80e can do and what a 6L90e can do as far as changes go. As well as how much knowledge you need to know about them.

The much newer trucks like 2011+ also use a Torque based computer that can complicate things if you've never dealt with them before.

I don't remember off hand if there are specific transmission courses out here for those transmissions. They are pretty stout in stock form, most people just change up shift points/speeds or shift firmness to make it act like they want.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
