    ECU cloning

Hi guys, just a question please, i know this is not what HP Tuners was designed for, but is it possible to use it to clone ECU's, have a VF Commodore V6 with a ECU fault, want to use a second hand one as new very expensive, and was wondering if you can take a full read from original and overwrite another somehow with ori file?
    thanks

Search your local Ebay for the computer's Service Number and the phrase 'programmed to your VIN'.

If you're talking about "cloning the flash", this should work. But the flash isn't the only thing that makes an ECU unique, there are other elements such as the serial number, VATS learned data, etc. These elements can NOT be cloned.
