Quick background: unlocked Gen III trucks to get vehicles out to their preferred tuners (we drive them so we need them to stay on) as we learn how to tune ourselves. Mainly get them stable in gear and idle instead of two stepping like before.
Customer provided cam with no specs, just knows its in the 230's/240's 615 lift. installed it on a 05 5.3 with shorty headers.
My problem is I've never dealt with a big cam like this and on a DBW vehicle. Truck idles pretty good and stays on in any gear, however it cuts fuel off (or something) for a split second while moving and does it steadily only when moving. I have no idea what is causing this. I won't be seeing this customer again but would appreciate help on what could cause this.
There are a few things that need to be changed, but the main problem is that the speed limiter was set to 0 mph.
