Hi guys

I am running a 2000 LS1 and 4l60e trans with factory PCM and OBDi wired up. I have the HPVI2 setup for tuning and all the above is in my 58 Apache which is running a Dakota Digital Dash.

Dakota Digital have a product (BIM-01-2) that can read from the OBDI port and tell their dash what gear you are in so it displays in the dash. Before ordering one I wanted to check if it was going to work on my setup.

In HPTuners I ran the scanner and checked both the "PRNDL Status" and "Trans Current Gear" however neither changed when I manually shifted the gear selection lever on the side of the trans.

I double checked the wiring for the trans selector switch and the 4 required wires are connected (as follows)
Switch A - blue/white ---> Blue 32 (PRNDL A)
Switch B - yellow --------> Blue 72 (PRNDL B)
Switch C - grey/yellow --> Red 62 (PRNDL C)
Switch P - white ---------> Blue 34 (PRNDL P)

I have located the Holden specs for these wires and which ones switch to earth in which gear (refer attachment) but before I go and strip a section of each wire to test I am getting the correct output from the switch .... is there anything I am missing or doing wrong?

Regards
Quintin
