    OLD school thought is not always correct.

    From a recent announcement : "We also worked very hard on a new camshaft profile, which is actually an interesting dynamic because it?s considerably less lift than any of our ultra-high performance cams, but it makes 100 horsepower more and ridiculous amounts of torque at low RPM. Which is almost counter-intuitive to what normally happens when you do that."

    Without citing specs, its really just meaningless banter
    sure a .605" lift cam at 256/264* at .050 will make 100 horsepower more at 470cubic inches than a .656" lift cam at 218/228 at .050. Saying lift alone made a difference is only a small portion of the equation
    they didn't use an identical cam with lift being the only difference and pick up 100hp.
