    Importing EFILive file

Is it possible to read an EFILive file that is currently loaded in my 2009 Cummins, modify it with HPTuners and retain the deletes that I have?

I understand that HPTuners doesn?t support deletes, but I?m thinking that reading a file from my ECM that already has the deletes will retain that ability and allow me to make other changes to the tune. Thanks in advance!

As long as you are able to actually read the file out it will work.

Hinges on what security settings were set in the EFI Live tune, most set so it can?t be read

Yes I was able to hook my laptop up to the truck with an EFILive tune loaded in it, and read the file through HPTuners without a problem

Did it read out or generate a stock file?

No stock file. It just read what was already loaded in the ECM from the EFILive autocal
