Scaling for big bore LS7 and 1000cc (FIC) injectors

Hello!,..Need a bit of assistance on scaling for 1000cc injectors on this build..I have pulled the directions/data for these injectors, however it ony allows for a certain amount of scaling on the injector data, I am aware there are changes that can be made to correct this other than injector data, but cant seem to locate.

Engine runs at idle good, however obviously at tip in and throttle its way to much juice,

    459ci
    649lift cam(close to katech-110)
    fully forged internals
    BIG Intake
    1000cc injectors

any help is appreciated. thankyou all in advance!

    Current tune attached.

The quick way is to double the stoich, half the injector flow rate and half the IVT terms. That would now allow for 127lb/hr injectors instead of only 63.5lb/hr.

or you can send in your ECU and update the OS to accept bigger injectors, but as mentioned above that is the quick way on older E38's

Yes, pretty much. Just use Lambda instead of AFR, which most already do.

Why didn't you try the method posted above?

Changes the the VVE should be done to the closed and open manifold switch.

I did,..didnt affect idle,..right now at idle point manifold is closed and that is the information being modified. im looking for the PID to identify when manifold switch is open

The point of the double stoich is so that you can at least get the injector data close. Once set you never need to change that again, so fudging with your injector data further is not the right way to go about things. Making changes to the short pulse adder or any of that other stuff is not helping you at all, leave that data as given by the injector provider.

I make changes to open/closed at the same time.

    OK Folks!

*I have set up the car for SD tuning and utilizing VVE-(virtual VE).
*I have changed the settings for the injectors from the data at FIC and lowered IPW and Short PW adder to 0.0.(working this idle rich issue)
*I set cyl size for 459CI
*I intake size for larger intake

Here is the breakdown of the build..the info could lie in here.

    LS7-454 bored to 459
fast LSXR BIG intake/billet fuel rail
    granatelli 103mm TB
    FIC 1000 injectors
custom cam (close to katech 110 torquer-649lift 111.5 LSA)
    weisco racing pistons
    Callies Compstar rods
    Callies dragonslayer crank

**it seems like I am actually getting down to 1.1 IPW at certain points, however EXTREMELY RICH AT IDLE) TO THE TUNE OF -27% fueling is close to stoich when IPW is 4-5.5

I will attach tune and log. Just need to know Im not missing something else in the injector data, OR I have to pull TONS of fuel back because of intake/injectors ect.

thank you again for any help!.Attachment 94933
