    4L60E issues

    Hey everyone.

i got a buddy that did the 896 pcm swap in his 98 vette. The pcm came from a 2000 silverado 2500.

His issue is when he flashes the corvette OS to the 896 motor and everything works great. but transmission is acting up like not selecting gears properly, Falling out of gear.
If he loads the silverado tune, Tranmission works totally fine but motor obviously doesn't run correct.

    Any ideas?

My 896 has a choice for a 4L60E. Did he pick that in his tune?

Yes, we have even tried copying all transmission settings from the stock truck tune to the corvette tune file. With no positive effects.

Did you copy over the info on the engine side for torque management ?

Engine side is all Corvette and we put all truck stuff on the transmission side seeing if that would work?

Compare the truck info on the engine side under torque management with the corvette one, just open 2 windows and view it, it may be quite a difference between the 2

The 80e tune is different for the pinouts/wiring on the trans plug and at the pcm, unless you do a segment swap on the pcm it wont work right. Im a little confused with this, are you doing a write entire when your loading the corvette os into the truck pcm or just a write calibration. Or did he put a 4l80 in the vette and hes trying to get it to work? confused?
