Can we please, oh for the love of dog, get some more keyboard shortcuts? lol

For reals. Keyboard shortcuts and such things like being able to ctrl+click to select individual cells, some sort of alternate combo for zooming on the VVE 3D graph (A lot of laptops or those using virtualbox or bootcamp don't have the luxury of being able to click both mouse buttons, as they are multitouch sensitive.).

Is this in the works, or is it undocumented? The docs could absolutely use a MAJOR update, too. You guys rake in money hand over fist. Use the other fist for typing docs hahaha. I am joking around, but seriously asking about the shortcuts and docs. That would be a great help (some of the docs are older than version 3). Thanks

Yeah, a lot of that is way behind. Like years...

Multi-cell selection has been on our wish list for a while.

There are technical reasons that makes it's implementation a bit tricky, so for now, it's lower on the priority list.

hot keys would be great. replace, add, multiply, smooth, interpolate, and switching between views with hot keys would make the process so much smoother

I always thought it would be a nice feature to add a Preferences tab in the VCM scanner to allow us to pre-select a default "Save As" directory. And then have a radio checkbox option following that, which allows you to select whether you want the log to be automatically saved as the date/time for the filename. This would let you no only start and stop a new log, by simply clicking the spacebar, but it would save the log automatically before it wipes the log and starts another one.

I can see some potential stability issues with this with different operating systems. But I think the work around would be to have an alert pop up box up asking if you would like to save the log before starting new one. This could easily be set up to be a simple as 3 clicks of the spacebar connect to the vehicle and start logging, then to stop the log. Press enter to confirm the save and then spacebar to start the next log.

Love all this! As a person who is in and out of a TON of cars daily/weekly/monthly I would love if we could specify say the last 4 digits to be appended to the log file name when saved.

It would be nice for the tune files to be saved date/time too. Yes I know the file properties should tell you what the date/time was but cloud services often screw this up....

Wait... adding shortcuts is low priority and hard to do? .NET provides the APIs and classes to do that with ease (i think with the forms classes. Idunno. Not a .net guy, but am an experienced programmer). Is it the same situation with not being able to configure the COM port your wideband's serial is coming from? Hotkeys for the VVE tables and possibly a different zoom key combo for us with laptops (which is likely most of us). I love the software but the lack of configuration of the software itself is killing me.

Please make it a higher priority. Most of Us tune with a laptop, we rarely are at a desktop with room to use a good mouse. Laptop's built-in mouse sucks for tuning.
