    Boost segment swap

    If boosting a lt1 Camaro can a segment swap be done with a zl1 file that has the same OS number? The segment swapper seems to allow these two particular files to swap. I believe this would be beneficial to start with a zl1 file after adding a lt4 blower

    can you? Probably. Should you? Probably not. Will it cause more issues than it fixes? Maybe.

    Personally I wouldn't willy nilly be segment swapping just to save some time.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Not even an option, just use factory controls and tunes just fine

    DONT START with a z06 or ZL1 file, NOT a good place to start

    Starting with lt4 data on an lt1 is a good way for your lt1 ringlands to leave the building.

    I meant a starting point as a file not to start the engine. I would change the timing and fueling maps/tables etc before firing it up. It was not to save time or knowledge of where to start. I wasnt sure if there were minor differences to other relatively insignificant tables may add up to making run differently under certain conditions. Obviously there are plenty of boosted lt1s running excellent making changes to the current file
