7.4L 0411 PCM Swap - Alternator wiring question

    Hello,

I'm helping a coworker setup a 7.4L standalone harness for his swap. We have the 1998 7.4L harness with black box PCM, and intend to set it up for a 0411 PCM. The pcm swap is all straight forward, but one thing I'm wondering is if I can connect the brown wire from the alternator on the '98 to the charge indicator circuit on the 0411 pcm? In the 98 the brown wire goes to a charge indicator bulb in the dash, so currently as it sits, it doesn't connect to the black box pcm.

    Thanks!

Connect the wire from the Alternator "L" terminal to C2 pin 15.

If you are using the 1998 IPC (gauge cluster), connect the wire going to the "charge" or "battery" display lamp to C2 pin 35.

I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be pin 15 or 35, thanks for clarifying!
