Cylinder Charge Temperature Bias Adjustment for TVS2300 ?

I am creating a 2 bar tune in advance of installing a TVS2300 on my 2006 GTO. As I understand it the 'Cylinder Charge Temperature' BIAS is used to calculate air temp at the intake valve by applying some arithmetic to the IAT and ECT values. The IAT sensor for the TVS2300 is relocated to very near the exit of the supercharger therefore it is much closer to the intake valve than the OEM inlet duct IAT location. Does anyone tweak the BIAS table to account for this? I expect this would have an influence on fueling and spark advance?

The iat sensor is in the blower base to give you better info on the actual air temp. I have never fooled with the bias table and don?t feel there is a need. Tune it with a good wideband and you should be good to go. I have had a Maggie since 2006. First the 112 and now a 2300.

Put an air temp sensor in and and call it a day, anything else is really just guessing, as air charge temp is constantly varying based on load

Will do for sure, as Lakegoat noted above, the TVS2300 comes with a Temp Sensor already installed in the supercharger base. I was just wondering if anyone plays with the Bias table, which is a function of MPH and airflow rate, at least in my ECM thats the way its set up.

that bias table is the relationship between iat and ect to calculate MAT, so if u now have the iat sensor in the manifold then u have a direct MAT reading so zero out the table and it will use only the iat in the manifold, if u look at the ls9 it is zeroed out for same reason, if u log MAT it will show u the number that is calculated when u have bias zeroed out it will read same as iat or when u have 1.0 in table it will read same as ect, i have mine zeroed out but also have had values in it so it just depends if its fine as is then all good or if u have issues related to intake temps then u can adjust it to help

Yes, I have been logging MAT and I can calculate that number from IAT, ECT and the bias table. MAT is used in the VE calculation I have in my scanner file.

Yes it should be changed.. The answer is really simple. Look to a LSA or LS9 file for the answer. One table will be all zeros one will be all 1's.. I can't remember which. I have to look it up every time.

OK, I'm thinking BIAS gets set to 0.0 (sets MAT equal to IAT) and FILTER gets set to 1.0 (immediate use of the calculate MAT)
