    MAF AD counts

What are AD counts? I assume it has something to do with an analog-to-digital conversion of some kind. My MAF transfer function sheet is in volts-to-kg/hour, but HP tuner editor displays in ADC-to-kg/hour. What is the conversion rate? Thanks

That depends on what the reference voltage is. If it's 5V and your max ADC is 1023 then the formula is 5V/1023=.0048875V per ADC.

    So if you were:
@ 880ADC then the MAF voltage is 4.301
@ 246ADC then the MAF voltage is 1.202

Need ADC instead? Using the information from above: Convert voltage from your MAF transfer sheet to ADC then input the value of kg/hr. Let's say you were at 2V. then it's 2V/.0048875 = 410 ADC

    Get it?
Knock Retard is the reduction or prevention of knock by lowering ignition timing:

(+) Adding Knock Retard = Reducing Timing. PCM is seeing knock.
(--) Lowering Knock Retard = Increasing Timing. PCM isn't seeing knock.

take Volts and Multiply by 205 will equal AD Counts.. 5v*205=1025
