    Coyote Pats

If I have a 2012 Coyote ECU that has had the Pats turned off, can I change the strategy with HP tuners and not worry about overwriting the Pats delete?

    depends how they disables pats

if they used ptdiag and toggled the ram register then the ecu ignores pats and u can write and use anything you want

if they disabled pats in the cal then loading any other tune that doesnt have pats modified will result in a pats fault and no start

I know the single pats switch shown in HPT is set to disabled (I also know there is more to it that isn't shown because that by itself won't disable pats in the coyotes). If the rest is done in the tune (but not shown) and I change strategies which results in a no start, can I reflash the first read and be ok?
