cant find segment swap for 80e with right OS!

Doing a black box swap and only pcm i have is a 09354896 with a 9365637 OS. Cant seem to find a 80e tune with the proper OS in the repository. have the 5.7 data i need unless someone has a complete tune i can swap with the proper OS. This is my first swap with one of these and didn't have time to source a 411 pcm as this guy is in a hurry. Any direction would be appreciated thanks.

    The Pcm is from a 99 chevy 4wd with a 4l60e

Can i write a different OS to this ecu but have to spend 2 more credits? Read somewhere you can do that but dont have experience with that.

The segment swap doesn't work on the black box computers.

I wouldn't use HPT to write a different VIN/OS into the computer, too costly and it may brick something. I'd try to start with a 5.7/4L80e file from the get go and use a dealership level scan tool to write to the stock computer and then license that file.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

The 4896 PCM that you have was used with LS engines in 1999 and 2000. It is similar to the more popular 0411 PCM that was used with LS engines in 2001 and 2002.

The 9365637 OS that is currently in your 4896 PCM was used by 1999 Corvettes - with a DBW throttle body. There is no OEM 4L80 calibration for that OS.

You can reprogram your 4896 PCM with a 2002 OS (12212156 is the most popular).

I use GM software and a Tech 2 / MDI for this job. You could try using HPT for this job. However, when going from a 1999 to a 2002 OS, the PCMs VIN and / or unique Serial Number can sometimes get corrupted - if using tuning software.

There’s a way to scan the ecu and revert back to stock? Not trying to thread jack, but I have a 3bar OS. Stock tune file was lost. And now I need to 80e segment swap. A scan tool flash would allow me to seg swap my stock tune OS, then go back to 3 bar, and copy my VE over.

Well this answered my question above. “Tech 2 or MDI” is what I need to find.

I bit the bullet and liscensed an o1 express file and did a write entire to the 4896 pcm and it seems to have taken, atleast it scanned out and i can change what i need to. havent plugged in to the engine yet as he's not as ready as he thought he was. Hopefully it works fine. The new OS is 12202088 which seems like a popular one for these black box swaps. Totally forgot i had access to a tech II till after i did this, duhhh. I appreciate everyones advice and may need a little guidence in tuning this as i haven't tuned a 5.7 non ls yet, doesnt seem that much different so far.
