    throttle delay

I may have a nonissue with this but here goes. When the trans is in gear (a/t) and I let off it doesn't want to come back down. The engine only comes down very slow it doesn't seem right to me but I may be wrong. The pedal retracts OK but the throttle body is slow closing, is this normal or is there an adjustment somewhere to help this.
2012 cruze 1.4l a/t. I first thought of an air leak but non found and the sensors involved seem to be OK.
I did some reading on it but could't find anything, on the forum and elsewhere.

find the driver demand table and try reducing it by 5% in the zones where it is hanging up.
