    Hi guys,
I got this 2005 GT coming in for a tune. How can i now if it is equipped with an EEC-V ecu ?
    Thanks.

2005 is not eecv. You shouldnt have an issue at all. I believe it's a Spanishoak ecu

    Thanks man.
Is there a list somewhere that defines what ECU each Ford model runs, with years, country etc ?
I live in France so it might be different from US.

Have any of you noticed that STFTs are still active at WOT on these EEC-V vehicles? Or are STFTs lagging that bad on the log? PE is definitely coming in at WOT and has perfect AFR, but STFTs are +20. WTH?

On the eec's the STFT (lambse) is the commanded lambda.

if it goes to 0 at wot then you are commanding stoich lol

20 would be commanding .8 lambda at wot.

I've skimmed through your site a few times. The lambse was hard to understand but the way you just explained it makes all the sense now.

What year explorer is it? I was looking at wiring diagrams and 2002 is when they put data lines to the cluster and 1999-2004 mustang all had data lines going to the cluster. If your explorer is pre 2002 atleast we could narrow it down to the cluster

Oh ok no worries. I thought for sure i was on to something. Needless to say I disabled pats and disconnect the cluster. It didnt really make a difference. The only downside to ms3 it's not emissions compliant. If that's an issue a quarterhorse is a better option

    quarterhorse is for eec-3 4 and 5 with a j3 port. If its a 2006 it wont be an eec-v with a j3 port.

So, today, using beta a downloaded about 2 weeks ago, i tried logging using the mpvi2 only(not the 1). Logging 25 parameters(pretty much everything you could need) including loads, and sources, i logged for a 45 minute drive, without a single glitch. No pauses, no cutouts, nothing. So whatever issues i was seeing before, are now gone. I can log continuously with the 2, write with the 2 without issue
