    error licensing a 2005 mustang

    hello, i have a problem which is
    i read a mustang 2005 and saved the file took a run for data then edited the file purchased credits then resynced it but whne in try to write the vehicle it doesnt give me the choice once i hit show license info it shows me i have 4 credits but all i have is dont license choice idk why plz ans asap. i attached the tune

    Knock Retard is the reduction or prevention of knock by lowering ignition timing:

    (+) Adding Knock Retard = Reducing Timing. PCM is seeing knock.
    (--) Lowering Knock Retard = Increasing Timing. PCM isn't seeing knock.

    Having exact same problem writing Back to Jeep Srt.
    Read somewhere going back to version 3 software may fix !!
    Im going to try that while I wait for support.
    Just have to find downloads for the older versions ??

    ran into this several times, issue with the new software and MPVI2

    connect to car and get infolog and send file to support.

    Figured out the problem for mine !

    I downloaded both trans and PCM... Figured out it was after more credits for the added Transmission info.
    So I just downloaded the PCM alone and now its working.

    Are you saying I need more than two credits to tune my engine and trans in my s197?

    I'm dont think so. The tranny is in the Strategy in the PCM on mustangs.Open your tune, if you see the tranny section the pn you are good...

    You're correct all is well with two credits.
