    L83 MAP sensor to L99 3 bar

    I have a 2018 L83 with a Whipple 2.9 and installed a GM 3 bar MAP intended for an '18 L99.
    What parameters need updated to instruct the ECU that it now has a 3 bar?

    The google.

    The part number is likely the red GM 3 bar map. If that is what it is, the settings should be 312.5 and -11.25. I forget the part number off hand.

    Thank you 5FDP and mbray01. I have been ALL over google and have found a variety of values; I also noticed the same part number is used on both the L83 and the L99. Why would the pn be the same and each require different values?

    What part number did you buy?

    This is the GM part number for the red 3 bar GM map that I always use.

    5FDP, I ordered 12644228 after researching Pace Performance and rock auto for part numbers I installed it today and the truck runs but is pig rich! That was the only change I made.

    This site says it's a 1 bar sensor.

    5FDP I discovered the same thing. I know Whipple suggests using the stock sensor and I have been following threads on this forum and decided to try 3 bar. I will order the 2525 tomorrow.
    BTW, will it plug into a three-pin connector?

    Install the 12592525 red 3 bar map sensor. It fits directly and the data:-
    linear= 312.5
    offset = - 11.25
