    6l90e conversion

My question is there a segment swap to install a 6l90e into a 06 2500hd? Has anyone done this already? If so what did you have to go through to do the install?

Not possible with a stock computer or anything segment swap related.

The P59 never used a TCM and the 6L90e has the TCM that works over canbus with the E38+ style controllers.

You would need to source a complete standalone controller and harness for the 6 speed transmission. I think someone makes it but I forget off hand.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

PCS makes a standalone controller for the 6L80/90 applications.

Yes but they dont back it up with much help. True Blue motorsports and zero gravity service the customer service end of it. Bought one brain and harness for a low mileage goodwrench trans i picked out of a wreck. Anyway if anyone knows anything about cruise control. Po741 code ( among a dozen others) all now shut off- in HP tuners but cruise Still wont work ... No one will help figure what next move is. Nevermind the trans module glitches, won't read trans temp, shifts hard, or late, or locks in 4th. I know of no success stories in 6l80 6l90 swaps. If i had to do it again, and i might....Put in a 4l80 paired with an np246 and call it good.

P59 used a TCM but only with the Allison. I doubt the Allison coding will communicate with the T43. I have actually considered doing some compatibility testing myself. I doubt that it has any compatibility myself but worth checking. Even the 0411 communicated with a TCM with an Allison. I believe the 05-09 P59s actually even used J1939 CAN to control the newer 6spd Allison TCM.
