    2017 vs. 2019 TCM differences

    Will a TCM from a 2017 work in a 2019 Z06? GM shows different part numbers but physically they look the same. 2017 - 24279973, 2019 - 24276411

    The link doesn't address a 2019 but assuming it has a T87A then a 2017 T87A, although a different part number, or a 2015.5 or 2016 T87 may work in the 2019.

Yep. Through 2016 is T87. 2017-2019 are T87A. 2017 and 2018 are a different part number than 2019 for some reason but all T87A. Best get a 2015 or 2016 T87. But you will have to either get one used with the same OS/gear ratio, trans details or get a new one and program it in a 2015 or 2016 Vett with the correct OS, gears, details....then install in yours and tune away. I have not done this on a Vette yet but it worked great between L86 pick-ups and Yukons.

I found a used T87 I'm going to try. Says it for 15-16 Cadillac, Camaro and Corvette. $45 bucks delivered isn't too bad. Thanks!
