4080e - wont shift out of first in wot

Googling and googling.. don't know where to turn

I've had this issue a lot. Earlier this morning, with my latest tune (pulled down some mph wot values for trans), I seemed to have fixed it. From a stop, floored it, and it shifted from first, to second, to third, and then I let off.

This afternoon, I touched nothing, and I couldn't get to shift out of first on wot. I'm in drive, in second gear, I punch it, it downshifts to first, and then it bounces off the rev limiter. Attached is my log (scroll to the end) and my tune.

It's a 4l80e segment swap. My mph and what not is scaled properly to trans revs per mile (i.e. my mph output reads properly)

Regular driving.. shifts great through all the gears, runs good. I can command each gear in hp tuners.. Drives great, just wot in first just won't go into second (though it randomly fully worked this morning, on one try).

For one thing your spark advance is doing some crazy stuff.

    4761 rpms has 8* timing.
    5845 rpms has 41* timing.

IAT was rising pretty fast too. Is this a stock engine?

Figures it out. I never properly wired my iss sensor, so during wot in non perf mode it wasn’t able to lean on the input speed for calculations.

But for full wot perf mode it worked by rpm only.

    AH! that's good to know.
Did you ever get your timing raised some? 8* timing is going to be pretty sluggish

Stock lq9 2003 Escalade tune.. not changing until I get a wideband

It’s in a 36 Chevy car. The air intake is small and sits close to the radiator which is why it spikes in iat

    I see.
I was wondering why it was rising fast but didnt get too high.

Should run pretty good once you get the tune dialed in.
