These have the 4L65E trans and 4wd system.

Were they LS2 like other VZ HSV? Closest I have and not really that close is VYII Adventura. I have come across most things, but never an Avalanche or XUV (or whatever they called the HSV Crewman) - They are pretty scarce

No its an LS1
Any 4wd cars were all LS1s because GM didnt want any breakages.
Same as the HSV Coupe 4 is a low state of tune LS1 for that reason.
The Adventura is a 4wd LS1 but only has the 4L60E trans.
