Our latest update of VCM Suite includes newly supported vehicles (internet connection required),
updated definition support with more parameters available, additional controller functions and a
wider range of scanning abilities and functionality.

Stupid question, but 19+ Silverado still requires ECM mod right?

    Yes.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Installing this latest 4.3.6.0 stealth-deleted the beta I had installed. Would be nice if it'd ask or at least notify about that first.

stable versions replace the previous software versions, its always worked like this and will continue to do so.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Why wouldn't this automatically update when going to Help/About? I was running an older version, and when checking for updates, none were found. I had to reinstall VCM suite to get the latest version.

Close Editor, window closes, then this pops up. This happens on one machine but not another.

Not really an option for those of us still on outdated/unsupported Win7 machines. Guess I will just live with it until future releases just don't work at all.

Noted. We will investigate on a Windows 7 machine to see what can be done.

I get the issue on Win7 x86 (flashing/logging laptop), but not on the Win7 X64 (editing desktop), if that helps.

No, we don't expect any driver updates for quite sometime, if ever.

Not sure where to put this, but I decided to try to upload the factory tune file for my 2020 Sierra 6.2L and post it in the repository, But so far I cannot read the tune file. Is a ECM mod required just to read a tune? I did download V4.6 version last night and tried again.....not planning on modifying the tune, just thought it would be good practice with this new hardware.

Why cant you guy add an update feature to the Help/About tab? It checks for an update, does not find an update, yet I come here to the forums and find out there is an update. Then I have to manually go to a website just to download a newer suite version. This is literally stupid. Its 2020, get with the program. There's no reason why that tab should not work to update Hp Tuners.

I know many software programs that do this, I know some automatically look for an update when opened, and my Design software is online all time, but I'm sure there is some programming and other things involved to make HPT "look for an update" at each open.
Not a bad idea, but these guys are into tuner programs more than Web designs maybe, sometimes that programming isn't so cheap.
