RR display of TrackAddict overhead track map

Apologies if this has been posted - I searched without an answer. My question is simple, does any version of RaceRender allow the overhead map view of TrackAddict, including the vehicle position and line, to be imported and displayed? I would really like to show that in a side-by-side view with the corresponding video.

    Thanks.

I don't think RR has built in support for map tiles (like on Google Maps), but you could try using the steps from this guide: http://racerender.com/RR3/docs/HowTo-MapBackground.html

If you don't care about the map tile background portion, then the Track Map Display Object would have the path you took, progress line, current position, and can even have a ghost of a previous lap (might need to follow steps here for a ghost of a non-fastest lap: http://racerender.com/RR3/docs/HowTo-TwoVehicleMap.html). This how I add my track maps to my videos.

    HoboBob,

Thanks for the link and suggestion. That might work if it is my only option but we are hoping to use this as a teaching tool at the track and so the work involved may be impractical in that setting; just looking at video on one device and data on a second might be the easier solution.
