Torque Converter Lockup ?? (and a towing one)

I'm soon going to be towing near the max capacity of my truck for over 3000 miles.

Currently I've moved the shift points up a bit, removed TQ MGT (and decreased tq mgt during shift by 25%), set lock up to min 90, max 100, and increased line pressure logarithmically across the board. The truck now moves very well and I'm quite happy with it's shifting performance EXCEPT...

Whenever I let off the gas and then re-apply the gas the truck sort of lurches but that anomoly goes away when I adjust the lock up back to factory.

Is this a bad thing for the transmission and can i fix it somehow?

Also, what settings are recommended in order to keep my tranny healthy during this trip? Do i want some TC slip? Increased Line pressure or decreased? Torque management during shift increased?

    Help please!

    Thanks.

Maybe you are getting a transient misfire on
the tip-in that unlocks momentarily. Try logging
the TCC Mode PID and look at it real time (as
the text values don't play back or graph). Do
you see anything but "Locked" (like --3-- is
what I was getting while misfires held off my
    lockup)?

Check that you aren't sliding over the low-
TPS unlock point (if any) or shifting up & down
as the vehicle may unlock for shifts despite
what you tell it about locking through.
