truck has been a work in progress. i figured i do need to adjust the ramp in for p.e ( was adjusting for fuel mileage and testing results) but i still get kr spikes with no load or throttle increase. open to all insight

Could it have something to do with burst knock retard? It looks like the areas where kr was occuring saw increases in maf. I'd try disabling burst knock retard entirely and logging again.
I have tried to research about disableing burst knock but I am having a difficult time trying to digest the info. If someone could point me to the disableing burst kr for dummies I would gladly read it.

Set the Burst Knock Enable Delta Cyl Air table to 8.000 to disable it.

I did remember reading up on how to disable per how you stated. What was confusing was reading the description in the software on how to remove it.

So I am not good at this at all. I am still learning. But I did notice when your KR kicks in the Throttle position is matched with it so it does seem to happen when your map starts to climb. Out of curiosity what fuel are you running?
For the time being crap 87 octane. I wouldn't think that the very minimal throttle pedal movement would effect the kr like it does but I guess that's why they call it learning.

So i have been plucking away and cant tell if i have made any real progress other than i dont get nearly as much tip in kr. In the snap shot you and see that i still get the damn knock. I remind you that the first 3/4 of the log is with the cruise on the highway and you can see the knock spike with no throttle increase by me i see the map and maf signal change as i was climbing a slight hill. and usually any load under cruise at the speed or rpm it always has kr. keep in mind i have added 4 deg to the spark table so am i being greedy and need to back it down a little? Another thing i noticed is sometimes the stft on both banks show negative while i am under light acceleration and kr starts to creep in
