    270 Cam in a '16 SRT 392 w/ 6 speed

I'm trying to get into tuning with HPtuners and just installed a 270 cam from Comp Cams in my 2016 SRT 392. The whole build includes a camshaft, comp cams 0.660 lift spring kit, comp cams phaser limiter, and comp cams pushrods w/ stock rockers (6.800 int and 8.100 exh). How do I get started tuning my vehicle for the best performance and good sounding idle?

I have a 274 cam in my 5.7L and to get it to idle like an old school cammed car, you have to play with the timing to have it "flop around". It's how I thought mine would idle with such a cam but the lobe separation is too wide for any real "overlap". Others on here can help as I passed on a "Ghost Cam Tune".
    I saw this video.

This isn't something you can really just jump into. I recommend finding a tuner if you want the car running safely anytime soon. Learning to navigate the PCMs alone takes a while. If your serious about learning how to tune check out the tuning school (link below). You may be able to find a tuner in here that will put a tune together for you for a fee. However, if you really want to give it a go alone check out the sticky's as a starting point.
