    EEC-V tuning

Does anyone have any experience with the old Ford EEC-V pcms? I know nobody really cares about a 20 year old ford but it's all I have and what I'm starting out with. There's alot of language in hp tuners that's different than anything I see or hear online or on YouTube "how to" videos. First thing is recommendations on a wideband. I'm pretty sure the EEC-V was not CAN based. Any tips or hints would be helpful.

This is my open loop fuel base. Is this what the fuel trims reference during closed loop operation? It has such low resolution. Is this sufficient? Does this look right?

thats essentially your power enrichment table. thats what you command throughout your throttle swings/rpm

your actual closed loop fueling is in you mass airflow transfer table

So that's just for open loop operation at WOT or whenever else it's in OP. So if my wideband is reading a bit too lean at WOT and I want to enrich it, I use this table. But if my LTFT are at -10% in some areas, I need to look at my MAF transfer values? Did I get that right?

Fuel base is what you want your AFR to be when in open loop. Open loop can be used for WOT, decel, cold engine start or by TP range. Just depends how you set it up. Set it to what you want your AFR to be in open loop and don't touch it. Adjust fueling by MAF or injector slopes. Your commanded AFR will come from the fuel base when open loop so if you rape your base table to make your wideband read richer/leaner your AFR error will still be off.

Not can based. Going to have to use prolink to hook a wideband up analog style. Or get a LC-2 wideband and read AFR from the serial input.
