Default Spark Advance and Retard Graphs / Histograms

Can anyone comment on why the stock Spark Advance and or Spark Retard graphs/histograms show Manifold Absolute Pressure as the Y axis instead of the much more appropriate for tuning Cylinder Airmass which directly corresponds to the Spark Advance tables in the VCM Editor. I ask because I can see beginner tuners being super confused by this choice of features.

Because not all ecm's are created equally, some used MAP and some use cyl airmass. Great thing about our scanner is you can configure it any way you want. And under Layout in vcm scanner you can quickly choose to switch between map & cyl airmass.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Thank you Bill, I asked because I thought the graphs were tied to the Channels and I was seeing this when selecting Vehicle Defaults, so I assumed if it senses that I have a GM Gen 3 4.8L then it ought to should reflect the correct graph.

Not to beat a dead horse to death, and I appreciate your feedback, I think I found it, however it changes both Spark and Fuel histograms, which makes it correct for spark as that histogram is RPM vs Cylinder Airmass, however it also changes the fuel histogram to be RPM vs Cylinder Airmass now, which is incorrect Fueling Histograms for the Gen 3s are RPM vs Manifold Absolute Pressure.

Again not ranting or complaining, just pointing out some feedback, perhaps to take under consideration for the next feature update.

Each graph is individually defined, changing one graph doesnt change the other

if you right click over the graph, then click graphs layout, you define each one individually, now also bear in mind you must be logging all of the correct pids for them to work correctly
