What do you mean wont repeat, it shifts good a couple times, then shifts differently, if this is the case the tuner would have had to really jack over the tune. The likely scenario is the trans is wearing, and unable to maintain proper clamping force while shifting. If its the 8 speed i wouldnt be surprised if its beginning to fail

I have found the 8 speeds to hold up good with a good tune. They are quite strong. Even the 8HP70 can hold up pretty good if tuned so it's not slipping clutches.

Do you mean different gears shift at different RPM of is it shift quality?

The key there is with a tune, stock, these things, have minimal at best pressures to complete proper shifts. They are failing more and more in stock form. My point is how hard was it driven stock, before it was tuned. Damage may have been done before any tune.

When i see one not able to repeat, its usually mechanical.

Yeah. If he means sometimes it shifts fine and sometimes it doesn't in the same gear it definitely could be hurt. Not sure if he just expects to see a shift at exactly the same RPM in every gear though and that's what he's saying.

Yes, hes very vague in his description, and when asked to verify, still vague.

My question does anyone have a tuned Trackhawk 800 hp and have it shift 6400 and above consistently?

Yes. I can tune them like that without issue. I usually short shift first a bit on purpose though.
