WOT Open Loop tuning clarification please, few other things.

05 Mustang GT, CAI, muffler delete

I will have my wideband installed this weekend but I am still unclear about WOT Open Loop adjustments and a few other things. Any advice is much appreciated.

When doing WOT pulls will I be logging/adjusting my MAF calibration or does that only matter for closed loop? I have LTFT dialed in to around 2% but my STFT goes positive a lot. I've read this is cool?

What about the MAF failure load, should I be logging and adjusting this table? I have a histogram setup but the values I'm getting back are significantly different than in the tune which makes me think I'm doing something wrong.

When I log my commanded lambda to %error do I make my fueling adjustments in engine-open loop-fuel base map or am I missing something?

I'm also still trying to figure out timing but I haven't really given it too much thought so no questions yet there. Just not really sure where to start. Borderline knock and MBT I reckon. I'd like to get that dialed for 93 octane.

Attached is my tune, a log, and my notes are below:

maxing out the wot multiplier is a band aid for not having the failed load table dialed in

best way to dial in failed load is to fail the maf and use the fuel error as the load correction
