    WOT tuning with Neural Network

    Hi guys,
I have an issue with tuning WOT with NN
I read a lot of threads in this forum and I'm really thankful for
The people who shared their experience and knowledge but I ran
Into issue that I can't figure it out.
In NN tuning mainly we focus in tuning WOT fueling then taking care of fuel trims finally
    Spark.
For WOT tuning we set PE ratio + FA stoich = WOT AFR
If there is EQ Error, we adjusted it with( InjPW vs. Fuel Mass) mutiple by 1.xx richer, 0.xx leaner
(InjPW vs. Fuel Mass) is inverse of the (InjPW vs. Fuel Mass) table
So, my car 3.6 charger with CAI and Gutted Cats I Was targeting WOT for high twelve's AFR
    FA Stoich = 0.0688 PE= 0.0100 (the entire table's no blend)
Total FA for WOT = 0.0788 which equal to 12.7 AFR EXT, COT if off

So, the issue I can't figure it out the WOT fueling not constant there is Enrichment
I don't know where is it coming from
here is what going on with me

    Scanner results:
-Same tune same file PE=0.100 Theoretically FA=0.0788=12.6AFR
    Run (1)
    Total FA=0.0848 = 11.8, Wideband = 11.8-12.2 AFR, PE was 0.100 and FA Stoich 0.0688 it
should be 0.0788 why? There is 0.0060 Enrichment!!!
    Run (2)
    Total FA= 0.0826= 12.1, Wideband = 11.9-12.2 AFR Again,same issue
    there is Enrichment!!

    -Tune number (2) PE = 0.0095 = 0.0783=12.7 AFR

    Run (1)
    Total FA = 0.0803 = 12.5, Wideband = 12.3-12.6 AFR again it should be 0.0783?
Run (2,3 and 4 the same results) and its fine
    Total Fa = 0.783 = 12.7, Wideband = 12.5-12.8 AFR
That's the issue I ran into it and I can't figure it out
I noticed when positive STFT B1 appears while WOT and mess up FA ratio
Wideband result similer to total FA ratio so i assume there is no EQ error I m right?
    -Airflow Max raised
    Any suggestions.?

    update
i changed injector pulse width today and it seems make it even worse (got EQ error)
before i have no EQ error at all, commanded total FA in scanner result same as Wideband result
in previous log i noticed 7% STFT in WOT so, i increased WOT Injpw 5% (1.05) and the result
Total FA =12.5 AFR and wideband shows 11.5 AFR.
i think my Issue there is something related to airflow or o2 sensors or i miss something
    any clue?

STFT will always be moving around alot as that what they do, the weather changes and the stft make quick adjustments based on that information, I only worry about LTFT and try to keep them with + - 5%, If it was me id make adjustment for WOT tuning and get that where you need to and then move back to LTFT and adjust the other half of the injector data to bring this back to where you need them.

yup this the way to tune with NN
first WOT and then fuel trims
but the issue while WOT fuel trims adjust fueling
i tried to dialed in fueling for closed loop and did't work
    here what i did
    https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...el+mass+tuning
after 2 times of longing and tuning Injpw vs.Fuel mass result in histogram values going bigger % !
    and fuel trims the same
    MY histogram set up:
    LTFT+STFT math :[50114.156] + [50116.156]
Row : Fuel mass cly 1
copy and past by % - Half in Injpw vs. fuel mass
then, copy inJpw vs fuel mass values and past it in row of fuel mass vs injpw

Just dial the injectors until you achieve the desired afr on wideband as that is what the engine wants.
Dont fret too much if the Eq number doesn't quite line up, unless you have nothing better to do...its just a number....................

yup, desired afr on wideband as that is what the engine wants
100% result identical but pcm command richer afr sometime
so, there is nothing i can do
    thank you
im MAF guy this why i like to keep my result constant 100%

Unless you have some really aggressive cam's just turn NN back on and tune using the PE for WOT fueling and injector scaling and airflow for closed loop.
I would not agree with the process of tuning WOT fueling first then closed loop with either NN on or off. If an OBD2 car does not run properly at idle or cruise the last thing you should be doing is going WOT.

Pretty sure he still is using NN...
