Loading tcm tune on t87

Is there anything special that should be done when writing a new tune to the t87? I thought I read somewhere that resets should be done but I can?t find that info anywhere. I want to upload my first trans tune but I don?t want to brick the controller.

The reset is not directly linked to installing your tune. You just do the reset in order to start the trans learning over after you make the changes and of course to get the affects of your changes right away. It is a good idea to do the reset after installing your tune. I am just saying that it is in no way linked to bricking a computer during a tune install.

thank you. the reset/preset is what i was after. I get no feedback in the scanner window that anything was completed but i assume it was.
