    NEEDED: 2013 Silverado 5.3L AFM/DOD & VVT delete tune

Anyone have a tune file for a stock 5.3 with the AFM/DOD and VVT functions deleted? Or if someone can help with a mobile tune at a decent price? I?d gratefully appreciate the help!🇺🇸

If you just replaced it with a stock camshaft and removed those items, it's only a few changes need to be made.

If the camshaft is aftermarket and larger than stock, nobody will be able to give you a tune for it that will just work right out of the box. There are too many variables and a custom tune is the only way to make sure things get dialed in for that exact engines needs.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

The cam was replaced with a stock non AFM cam from TSP. So if it?s just a few minor changes then i have the software just don?t know what changes need to be made.

    Going off memory here.

Find the airflow tab on the engine side of the tune. There should be another tab labeled variable camshaft. In that tab on the far left is a table just labled "Camshaft". It should say one in the drop down box, you need to change that to none because you removed it.

Under the fuel tab find the fuel savings tab and set the DOD from enabled to disabled.

Under the engine diag tab find the DTC's list and go through all the trouble codes to disable anything AFM/DoD related as well as anything VVT related. There should be several codes in there for them. Just uncheck the SES box and set the code drop down to "no error reported".
